Many College of Business departments offer tutoring help to students enrolled in their courses. Please check with each department for information or check the bulletin board outside of the COB Advisement Center for tutoring availability and locations.
The Visor Center is a component of Illinois State's University College. It offers help in mastering course content and in acquiring study skills. In keeping with the Visor Center philosophy, students who use the services of the Visor Center are challenged to become actively involved in their own learning.
The Visor Center takes a holistic approach to learning, helping students to appreciate their strengths and recognize their weaknesses. Staffed by undergraduate students, graduate students, and professionals, the Visor Center provides flexible forms of assistance, including one-to-one tutoring, small group tutoring, group study sessions, and learning skills seminars.
Both students who want to ensure their A's as well as those who find themselves in academic trouble can take advantage of the Visor Center services. All are welcome!
